Secrets That Will Help Your Dog Live Years Longer

Homemade Dog FoodFeeding your dog homemade food is the best thing you can ever do for it’s health. It’s as simple as that. It really is so easy and affordable (if you know what you’re doing) that there just isn’t a good excuse to continue feeding our pets the disgusting ingredients found in commercial dog foods. This is the best guide on homemade dog food available anywhere. If you want to keep your dog alive and healthy as long as possible this is what you’re looking for.

Did you know dog’s live to be 25-30 years old all the time? I didn’t. I thought it sounded crazy, and I’m one of the biggest dog lovers out there… I’ve read all the books, the news, all the latest studies. I’ve even taken canine emergency care and CPR courses in town. Still though, before Sadie (the black lab I have now) not one of my dogs ever lived past 18, sadly. Sadie is 22 right now and she’s still pretty active for her age. I didn’t learn about homemade dog food 22 years ago – but even with how well I’ve cared for her I still have no doubt in my mind that she wouldn’t be with us today if I didn’t change her diet when I did. My wife’s and parent’s dogs will no doubt pass the dreaded 18 year mark in perfect health as well thanks to homemade dog food.

I wish a guide like this one was around a lot sooner. Unfortunately there aren’t any companies spending millions on advertising or sending samples to veterinarians to give away, so I had never heard of it back then. I certainly wouldn’t have thought it would be as easy or as healthy as it turned out to be. At the time I felt that my dogs living to be 18 was great and that all the health issues and constant vet visits were normal for any dog that age.

I felt so guilty watching Sadie run around the park playing with other dogs on her 18th birthday. I’ve always taken such pride in taking very good care of all my pets, and watching that just brought back memories of dogs I’ve had who were younger than her who I raised on regular dog food diets and could barely move by that age.

After learning about homemade dog food I started to notice how much healthier some dogs seemed compared to others, even those of the same age. I found out 99% of the time it’s because they were raised on homemade dog food. Even so-called “premium” dog food just contains extra artificial flavoring so you see your dog pig out and assume it’s good… but you wouldn’t let your four year old eat fast food for every meal just because he enjoys it, would you?

You can avoid so many health problems for your dog, and vet bills for yourself, just by reading “Dog Food Dangers” and following it’s simple advice.

Great info! I’ve been feeding home made food & treats to my dogs for over a year now. My big mixed breed had started to show signs of hip dysplasia (at only 2 yrs. old!) so after researching I decided to start the home made route. His hips literally healed after only a month – and have only gotten better and better. Now he runs and jumps like a puppy! Also, I’ve noticed that dogs on home made diets get alot of their water through the food and don’t drink as much water as dogs who are fed a dry dog food, just FYI…for a while I thought there was something wrong with them :-) I love cooking for my bebe’s and they love love love the food they eat.
